On display at the Museum of Rome a small group of works belonging to its permanent collection, closely connected to the topics discussed at the international conference entitled 'Roma fuori di Roma’: modern art from the pontificate of Pius VI to Italian Unification (1775-1870), which took place on December 13-15, 2011 at the British School at Rome, an Art History conference organized by Liliana Barroero (Università Roma Tre), Giovanna Capitelli (Università della Calabria) and Fernando Mazzocca (Università Statale di Milano).
