Expositions
The restored painting, on display at the second floor of the Museum of Rome until November 7, 2010, is placed side by side with other two paintings equally representative of the artist's early maturity, “Sotto la pergola" (Under the Pergola) and "Torso di donna" (Torso of a Woman).
To document the history of the Risorgimento in Rome means to track twenty years of the city's history, including two decisive moments such as the Roman Republic of 1849 and the Breach of Porta Pia on September 20th, 1870.
From 22nd April to 5th September, an exhibition of Pio Pullini’s works coming from private collections and from the Galleria Comunale d’Arte Moderna (Municipal Gallery of Modern Art) will be held at the Museo di Roma - Palazzo Braschi.
